![]() ![]() ![]() You see we've got our simple transition from blue to red. And Recovered Clips we don't need so I'll just delete that. Feel free to remove things from the project if you don't think they're needed. ![]() Now, you could of course start to put more things in here as you build, but it's pretty easy. If I open that project up, you see it just contains a single transition, and that's pretty simple. There's my Transitions Presets, and that project, called OrangeIrisLowerRight. Let's go to our Creative Cloud Files folder. Now that that's created, I'll just open that project up for a second so you see it. And when I save it, it becomes its own Premiere Pro Project. Now, store that folder and just put that project in there. And make a new folder called Transition Presets. I recommend you navigate to someplace that's easy like your Creative Cloud files folder. In Premiere, just highlight the sequence that you made that contains just the effect and choose File, Export, Selection as Premiere Pro Project. Once you've got the sequence built, it's a good idea to store this as it's own project, and this is quite easy. And we've got a simple sequence now that contains just our effect. Let's delete away some of that extra space. So now, we have a sequence that only contains our transition, there it is. Looks great, I can delete away the audio by just alt dragging to highlight it, or opt drag and delete. There's the Blue, let's click the second clip here, and opt or alt drag the Red in. Remember it's very easy now to select a clip and hold down the opt or alt key to swap out a replacement. And another that's blue, and call it Blue. We'll make one here that's red, and just call it Red. So this isn't dependent upon media, I recommend you make some Color Mattes. So I can delete away anything I don't need. Now, I'm gonna work with just this transition. Open it up, and simply close everything else. And I'll highlight that, and let's just copy that so the name is handy. Let's go into the Project Panel here and duplicate this. If you have a transition that you're happy with, you could simplify the sequence into just the effect. If you've built a transition that you want to save it's pretty straight forward to back that up. ![]()
